Coffee-lovers rejoice - you have reason to celebrate. The Singapore Coffee Festival, which debuted last year, will return on August 3-6, 2017, with more space and even more exhibitors. Read on to find out what you can look forward to at this caffeine filled event.
1. More Coffee!
More than 50 exhibitors have signed up to show off their brews at the event, including Jewel Coffee, Common Man Coffee Roasters and Chye Seng Huat Hardware. Other returning cafés include Symmetry, Hook Coffee; and Dapper Coffee, who we waxed lyrical about in our article on best coffee’s in Singapore. They will be joined by new exhibitors such as Caffé Vergnano, Park Bench Deli and Brawn & Brains. Plenty of caffeine to keep you going!
2. Fun demonstrations
Highlights this year will include barista competitions, coffee workshops and demonstrations, local music acts and live art performances. The Straits Times who are the organisers of the event will have journalists hosting chats with café owners, entrepreneurs and CEOs, while ST Life editor and veteran food critic Tan Hsueh Yun will present Posh Nosh by Hsueh – an exclusive dining experience featuring the most delectable picks from the festival.
3. The views
Breathtaking riverside views of Singapore’s city skyline can be viewed from the venue’s outdoor wharves, along which festival-goers can enjoy al fresco seating.
4. A moment to gloat
Want to tell your friends you are at this awesome event? From storytelling sessions to a family friendly social space, there’s plenty to keep the little ones occupied too!
