​Laser Detect - Can Cleaning Be This Much Fun? 

Would you believe us if we said that cleaning with the Dyson V15 Detect is ‘actually’ fun? Blame its key technology(first introduced in the V12 Detect Slim), Laser Dust Detection which reveals hidden dust particles with a precisely angled laser. Aim at a dusty patch and watch the laser illuminate all of your hidden secrets. Vacuum it up and go back to check - yes, it indeed is as entertaining! 

Dyson engineers have developed a technology(Piezo sensor) that also allows you to measure the amount of dust detected and then display it on an LCD screen. The dust size and quantity are shown on the in-built LCD screen, so the user can see how much dust the vacuum has removed, as well as the different sizes of particles. How’s that for real-time proof of a deep clean! 

The vacuums have been designed so that they automatically increase suction power when there’s a large amount of dust. This happens in auto mode, so when the piezo sensor detects high concentrations of dust, a reactive suction power is triggered to automatically increase in power. When this dust level normalises, suction power is reduced to its previous level.

These bristles are tapered to just 0.05mm, to avoid scratching delicate surfaces. 

​There’s also the Awkward Gap Tool which twists 22 degrees giving you the optimum angle for cleaning those hardest-to-reach places around your home or car. Multiple prototypes tested at varying angles revealed that this is the optimum angle for cleaning the hardest-to-reach places around your home or vehicle. With a width of just 12.5mm and 254mm reach, it is engineered to reach and clean deep into narrow gaps.
