C.O.T.U. – New Year’s at Singapore’s Newest Sky-High Lifestyle Concept
C.O.T.U, or Centre of the Universe, is a wholly new, uniquely Singaporean dining and lifestyle destination which made its debut in November 2024, seeking to redefine entertainment in the region with its five immersive concepts for luxury dining, bespoke cocktails, and dynamic entertainment. Comprising of an experiential cocktail bar, Japanese-inspired steakhouse, live jazz lounge, ultra-lounge and sky pool, C.O.T.U is shaping up to be one of Singapore’s most glamorous upcoming destinations, taking its spot above the glittering city at the very top of the CapitaGreen building. New Year’s Eve at C.O.T.U is set to be busy, as three events are happening across the various concepts: at the Whisper Room, Ensō Steakhouse and Dashi Go-Go.
At Ensō Steakhouse, a modern, Japanese-inspired steakhouse, Executive Chef Alex Cancun and his team brings European and Asian culinary artistry to your table in a New Year’s Eve multi-course tasting menu, featuring the best of Ensō’s bold, premium cuts of meat and precise, delicate preparation with a glass of champagne. Next, the Whisper Room, in the Art Deco style of New York’s famed hotel bars, is both relaxed daytime retreat and sophisticated jazz lounge– come New Year’s Eve, this sleek cocktail bar will host a “Casino Royale” party, promising live DJ sets and entertainment, exclusive cocktails, and a stunning view of the city’s fireworks at midnight. Finally, at Dashi Go-Go, a futuristic, neon-lit ultra-lounge, guests can ring in the new year to the sounds of high-energy R&B and hip-hop. Enjoy elevated bottle service and a dip in the Dashi Skypool, Singapore’s only non-hotel elevated pool, which overlooks the city.
C.O.T.U is located at CapitaGreen, Raffles Place, Levels 38 & 39, 138 Market Street, Singapore 048946. Ensō’s New Year’s Eve menu is available from from 5:30pm to 11pm, and can be booked here. Get your tickets to the Whisper Room here and Dashi Go-Go here: a single ticket gives you access to both concepts as well as Little Birdie, an intimate, playful craft cocktail bar.
Sentosa Countdown Party – A Picnic By The Beach Under The Fireworks, And More
Sentosa’s highly anticipated countdown party returns this year at Palawan Green, by the newly redeveloped Palawan Beach: a stretch of idyllic green turf along the coast. This sprawling event has something in store for everyone: partygoers, live music lovers, families, friends, foodies, and more. At midnight, expect to witness Sentosa’s own fireworks display to mark the arrival of the New Year– but before that happens, there’s so much else to look forward to.

SUSHISAMBA – A New Year’s Countdown Made Glamorously Tropical
SUSHISAMBA has previously made the cut on our list of Singapore’s best boozy brunches. Now, the sky-high destination at the top of the Capital Tower has revealed the details of its debut New Year’s Eve party: SAMBAZONIA is set to happen on 31 December, and the festivities run from 6pm till late. Guests are invited to dress in their best white ensembles to party the night away in two distinct experiences, spanning both the lower floor and SAMBAROOM, the cocktail bar upstairs.
The party starts downstairs at dusk, with a special à la carte menu that guests can enjoy while admiring the last sunset of the year, followed by a five-course dinner that’s available from 8:30pm all the way till 2am. The five-course dinner is offered in two formats, inclusive of vegan, coeliac and pescatarian diners, that rounds up the best of SUSHISAMBA’s culinary offerings. Expect the famous SAMBA rolls, elegantly appetising yellowtail and lobster taquitos, and our current favourite: the hamachi tiradito, delicately topped with truffle soy, caviar, and truffle flakes. Specially for the occasion, SUSHISAMBA has rolled out Seafood Cazuela Rice, a bed of tender mixed seafood and rice drizzled with Peruvian aji amarillo sauce.
Closer to midnight, head upstairs to SAMBAROOM for high-energy Afro-Latin-meets-Disco music by top DJs, paired with glamorous Carnival dancers, live percussionists, and an electrifying atmosphere. Grab one of SAMBAROOM’s expertly crafted cocktails, like the sparkly, summery Geiko, before you bid the year farewell.

Pullman Hill Street– Countdown Parties at MOGĀ and El Chido

MOGĀ, the elegant Japanese-inspired, modern izakaya concept on the ground floor, will host “The Last Moon of The Year”, in collaboration with music and entertainment curators 528 Collective, from 9pm to 2am. Against thrumming electronic beats, sample MOGĀ’s cocktail creations, such as the light, fizzy sweetness of peach-infused Momotaro’s Adventure, that take their inspiration from the iconic flavours of Japan. Every guest will receive a complimentary cocktail and an invitation upstairs to El Chido to view the fireworks at midnight.
El Chido, the rooftop lifestyle destination atop the Pullman Hill Street, also hosts its own celebration: the Around the Sun 2025 Countdown Party, which begins from 4pm and runs till late. Kick back by the pool as the sun goes down, then dance into the new year with 528 Collective’s DJs– and receive a complimentary pour at midnight.
