Attend The U.S Embassy’s Thanksgiving-themed Concert in Singapore

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the U.S Embassy in Singapore is organising a Thanksgiving concert at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, at the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage.

The U.S Embassy in Singapore encourages guests to bring a picnic so that they can feast in celebration of Thanksgiving while watching The Americans live in Singapore.

Los Angeles-based roots rock band , The Americans, will be playing on  Sunday, December 1 from 6.00pm - 7.30pm at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, before they head to Vietnam. Their debut album I'll Be Yours, released in 2017, debuted at #15 on the UK Americana Top 40 and #19 on the Indie Breaker's chart.

Food From The Heart Packaged Goods Drive

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, local non-profit charity, Food from the Heart will collect voluntary donations of packaged food items at the event to share with needy Singaporean families.

Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) alumni have volunteered to assist with the food collection for Food from the Heart.

Food from the Heart welcomes basic food donations such as rice, bee hoon, milo, horlicks, ovaltine, coffee, tea, canned fish, canned chicken, canned vegetables, canned soup, evaporated milk, cooking oil and bread spread.

When: Sunday, 1st December 2019

Time: 6.00pm - 7.30pm

Location: Singapore Botanic Gardens, Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage

This event is free and open to the public and will take place rain or shine unless accompanied by lightning.
