Bold and masculine, garbed in classic black trench-coat-inspired attire, with a hand-tied knot in English-woven black gabardine, Mr. Burberry finally makes its debut in town.
Inspired by the city of Burberry, London, and their iconic trench coat, the British luxury giant unveils the new fragrance for men, aptly titled, Mr. Burberry.
Infused with notes of zesty grapefruit and a seductive base of earthy vetiver and smokey guaiac wood, the scents will help you reminisce the streets of London. The bottle however, takes inspiration from the signature details of Burberry’s runway. The cap references to the trench coat’s hom-look buttons, while the knot at the neck of the bottle uses gabardine fabric - the same fabric used in most of their trench coats. Together, the fragrance and the bottle encapsulates Mr. Burberry: the man and the world he lives in.
The scent was designed by Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, in collaboration with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. “Mr. Burberry is our most significant men’s fragrance to date. Inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat and by London, a city of great contrasts and contradictions. It is traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine. It perfectly encapsulates a mood and an attitude that today’s Burberry man will recognise as his own.” Said Bailey
All bottles can be personalised in the same way their trench coats and iconic scarves can be. Add your initials through the brand’s monogramming service to make the bottle exclusively yours. The service is available on Burberry.com and at selected Burberry stores.
The Mr. Burberry scent is priced at SGD82 (30ml), SGD102 (50ml), SGD142 (100ml), SGD150 (150ml) and SGD3,900 (1,000ml).
