Since 2018, Jaeger-LeCoultre had been led by the high-end watchmaking industry’s first female CEO, Catherine Rénier, who had been with the brand’s parent company Richemont for over two decades. Although Rénier is set to leave Jaeger-LeCoultre later this year to head up sister brand Van Cleef & Arpels, the almost 200-year-old brand has blossomed under her leadership and underwent a refresh in 2023 to align with a more contemporary audience. To launch this fresh take, Jaeger-LeCoultre created its Made of Makers programme in partnership with artisans across the world.
