Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 has been revealed, showcasing the region’s most exceptional dining establishments. This year, Bangkok’s Gaggan takes the coveted No.1 spot, reaffirming its status as a leader in progressive Indian cuisine. The list spans 16 cities, with Singapore maintaining a strong presence among the top contenders.
Bangkok Leads with Gaggan at No.1
After multiple reinventions, Gaggan returns to the top, offering an avant-garde culinary experience that blends Indian traditions with Japanese, French, and Thai influences. Bangkok remains a culinary powerhouse, with Nusara (No.6), Sühring (No.11), and Potong (No.13) all securing high rankings. Meanwhile, Gaggan at Louis Vuitton (No.31) further cements the chef’s influence in the region.

Singapore’s Top Restaurants in 2025
Singapore restaurants continue to impress, with seven restaurants earning spots on the prestigious list. Odette leads the way at No.7, reaffirming its reputation for refined French fine dining. Les Amis moves up to No.28, while Labyrinth (No.37) stands out for its modern interpretations of local dishes. Burnt Ends (No.38) showcases contemporary barbecue, while Meta (No.39) combines Japanese ingredients with Korean and French influences.
Newer entrants include Seroja (No.40), which highlights Malay Archipelago cuisine, and Euphoria (No.48), known for its unique ‘Gastro-Botanica’ concept that places vegetables at the centre of fine dining.
Hong Kong and Tokyo Dominate the List
Hong Kong boasts seven entries, with The Chairman securing No.2, followed by Wing (No.3) and Caprice (No.18). Tokyo matches Bangkok with nine spots, including Sézanne (No.4), Narisawa (No.12), and newcomer Crony (No.30), where sommelier Kazutaka Ozawa won the Asia’s Best Sommelier Award.
