If you’re visiting Singapore or have been living here for a long time, this “food paradise” has 9 new eateries that has been awarded the Bib Gourmand by Michelin. Given how multicultural Singapore is, we are not surprised with the variety of choices from street food to restaurants which includes Thai, Indian, Japanese and even a European option!
Bib Gourmand awards are given by Michelin guide inspectors to restaurants and street food establishments offering quality food at affordable prices, the maximum at $45.
Here are the list of 9 new Bib Gourmand entrants that together showcases Singapore’s gastronomic diversity.
1. Ah Er Soup (ABC Brickworks Food)
Known for their soulful Cantonese-style herbal soup at the famous ABC Food Centre, Ah Er Soup tastes best with their speciality pumpkin rice.

2. Bar-Rouque Grill
Since July 2013, Bar-Roque Grill is set to ignite Singapore’s premium- casual dining scene with its heady unique mix of hedonism and conviviality.

3. Liao Fan Hawker Center
The first of its category awarded the Bib Gourmand in Singapore. This hawker also has a Michelin Star attached to its name!

4. Man Man Japanese Unagi Restaurant
Singapore’s first unagi specialty restaurant that opened in October 2016 by Chef Teppei Yamashita. Chef Teppei is no stranger to fantastic cooking, you might already be familiar with Teppei Japanese Restaurant.

Tsuta Ramen was award the Michelin Star in 2015 and is known for their handmade noodles and experimentations with unique flavor.

9. Zai Shun Curry Head
Fish Head Curry has always been a local favourite amongst both the Chinese and Indians. Zai Shun Curry Head house is definitely a favourite for their fresh fish amongst the locals and even food bloggers.
