The Tablescape Restaurant and Bar, a cosy restaurant tucked under the Grand Park City Hall but still overlooking the vibrance of the city, has unveiled two menus for the festive season: one for dine-in, and one for takeaway.
At S$98++ for four courses, the restaurant’s Festive Dine-in Menu is a celebration of its signature Modern European cuisine, and is both traditional and refreshing. Starting with a Poached Boston Lobster paired with panzanella and burrata, followed by a crispy-creamy Confit Duck Croquette with rich foie gras, choose from a selection of two mains: Cod Brandade, with savoy cabbage and a burnt onion emulsion; or Wagyu Beef Tenderloin done perfectly soft with a medley of vegetables. For dessert, the Chocolate Valrhona Crèmeux, arranged and piped onto its plate with an artist’s detail, masterfully pairs bittersweet chocolate with fragrant coffee.
The Takeaway Menu, for your home feasting needs, features the crowd-pleasing Roasted Whole Turkey (S$168), with a side of Brussels sprouts, potato mousseline, glazed chestnuts, and rich giblet gravy. Acqua e Farina – Christmas Dinner in the Best of Italian Flavours
Chef-Owners Antonio Manetto and Roberto Galbiati of Acqua e Farina have transported the very best of Italian Christmas traditions to their restaurants on Keong Saik Road and at the Rail Mall, unveiling festive menus for both dine-in and takeaway.
The dine-in Christmas dinner menu begins with the Carpaccio di Polipo (S$34++), featuring thinly sliced and gently boiled octopus with fresh tomatoes, olives, capers, herbs and olive oil. Next, the Tagliolini agli Scampi (S$46.00++) combines house-made egg tagliolini pasta with pan-fried Italian crayfish, in a rich bisque with a hint of cream. The masterfully prepared main course, the Costolette di Vitello (S$54.00++), is a Dutch veal chop slow-cooked for six hours, pan-fried, and served with pancetta, sage, tender seasonal vegetables and potatoes, and finished with a white wine sauce. Finally, the staple of Italian Christmas, the Panettone (S$14.00++), comes studded with candied fruits and raisins, topped with creamy mascarpone sauce.

To go around the world in three hours, head down to 21 on Rajah, the halal-certified Mediter-Asian buffet restaurant in the Aloft Singapore Novena, for a festive culinary journey across countries and continents. From S$52++ for adults and S$26++ for children, you’ll be able to sample a wide variety of dishes created and inspired by far-flung destinations.
Beginning with the American classic Slow-Cooked Brined Whole Turkey with Christmas Nut Stuffing, guests are then treated to the Filipino-style Pineapple-Glazed Turkey Ham, accompanied with cranberry sauce, Brussels sprouts, and comforting roasted winter vegetables with nutty stuffing.
