Contemporary Retro Designs at Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore
Situated at the city's heart, Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore is a stone’s throw away from Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Aside from its convenient location, you will be surrounded by the many iconic tourist attractions in the area. Or, if you are up for a much-needed shopping spree, you can stop by Plaza Singapura Mall, which has an array of local clothing stores.
This new hotel also offers an impressive 172 rooms with 13 types of rooms, which include family-friendly options. All their guestrooms provide standard accommodations ideal for various party sizes, ranging from a luxurious family suite that can house a party of 10 to a loft room perfect for a couple.
When we first entered their cosy lobby, we noticed this hotel's retro vintage theme which is reminiscent of a modern railway station. The lobby also extends to another Japanese cafe called Natsu, with a vibrant orange-coloured interior and a warm ambience. Here, you can taste some timeless Japanese dishes with a local touch.
We checked into their Deluxe Plus Room, which has floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing a lovely view of Singapore’s streets. Their complimentary minibar was full of classic teas, coffees, and light snacks you could munch on if you felt peckish.
The generous-sized room has a bedside table and a two-seater sofa with enough seats to hold a mini-gathering in this inviting space. They even have a desk for you if you need to do last-minute work and the added perk of free and unlimited Wi-Fi that keeps you connected to your devices without any worries.
The spacious bathroom was a huge plus, featuring a unique shower. Also provided are eco-friendly bath amenities, a hair dryer and bathrobes to make your stay more comfortable.

Enjoy The Rooftop Pool, Aqua Gym and Indoor Fitness Room for Fitness Junkies
Take full advantage of their 24-hour Indoor Fitness Room, which overlooks the gorgeous pool view and scenery. This semi-private room has a treadmill and exercise bike, so you can enjoy working out together if you visit with a partner.
It has a well-stocked corner of water bottles and towels to keep you hydrated and dry after your much-needed workout. If you need to do some stretching, the room also provides a yoga mat so you can enjoy doing light exercises.
Take a dip at their Outdoor Lap Pool with Sundecks and bask in the sun, or get a full-body workout in the water by building your core strength at their unique Aqua Gym. For the little ones, children can splash about in their Outdoor Wading Pool for a memorable yet swimmingly great time.
E.D.T Rooftop Bar & Restaurant at Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore
We also had a comfortable experience at their E.D.T Rooftop Bar & Restaurant. The initials have a quirky meaning: Eat Drink Together. The concept was born from combining a bar and restaurant's daytime and evening ‘editions’. During the day, it makes for a swanky restaurant, while at night, the space transforms into a chic gastro bar. The detail of concave mirrors on the ceiling and their marbled counters adds a stylish touch to the space.
We visited the establishment during the day for our sumptuous breakfast. The classy interior and the impressive bar donning many bottles of spirits and liquors made for an intriguing and comfortable dining experience, reflecting the hotel's charming nature.
