National Day 2021: Special Menus with Island Wide Delivery in Singapore
Let the festivities begin! While the NDP may have been postponed this year, Singapore will still be celebrating the nation’s 56th birthday on 9 August 2021.
Nothing unites Singaporeans quite like food—and so this National Day season, you can take part in the festivities from home with this handy list of National Day 2021 special menus delivered islandwide, available for a limited time only!
Nusantara
Nusantara Singapore is taking our favourite dishes and giving them a local spin this National Day.
Rendang is a staple in Nusantara cuisine and using local ingredients, Nusantara Singapore presents a Chicken Rendang Lasagna (S$18) made with Roti Jala (lace pancake), layered with chicken rendang, mozzarella, coconut bechamel instead of bechamel sauce, and sliced tomatoes.
Who doesn’t love a good bowl of nostalgic mee rebus? Chefs at Nusantara Singapore have created Mee Rebusta (S$18)—an awesome combination of a local favourite dish and pasta! Made with Fettuccine, topped with sliced beef, ebi prawns, beancurd, egg, green chillies, spring onions, and homemade gravy.
Available from 1 to 9 August 2021 for delivery only. Orders can be placed directly online or via Grabfood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo.
Pita Tree
Pita Tree Mediterranean Grilled Kebabs has launched their very first National Day special menu centred around our local favourite dish—Chicken Satay!
Taking this very Singaporean dish, the culinary team at Pita Tree has managed to pair their grilled chicken kebabs with a satay peanut sauce made in-house from scratch.
You can choose to order this in the form of a Chicken Satay Bowl that comes with juicy charcoal-grilled chicken kebab pieces, satay peanut sauce, basmati rice, and fresh-cut vegetables; or choose the Chicken Satay Wrap or Pita Bread option.
Both National Day special dishes come at S$12.90 for takeaway or S$15 for islandwide delivery.

BURGER KING Singapore
Possibly the Kingdom’s greatest National Day masterpiece (not to mention a world first), BURGER KING introduces the Double Ultimate Rendang Angus Beef Burger. This national treasure will feature not only two juicy, tender Angus flame-grilled beef patties, topped with signature, sedap Rendang sauce and fresh onions, but this year, strips of crispy turkey bacon will also be nestled between fluffy corn-dusted sourdough buns.
That’s not all the King has planned this National Day. Fans can also look forward to the new Gula Melaka BBT Green Tea Float, Gula Melaka BBT Malty Float (both S$3.90) and the Gula Melaka BBT Sundae (S$2.60), inspired by Singapore’s favourite bubble tea. Lastly, end your meal with the Onde Boleh Pie (S$1.80) filled with deliciously sweet gula melaka coconut and wrapped up in a crispy crust.
You can also get your hands on a limited-edition National Day tee by purchasing the Taste of Singapore Indulgence Bundle, available exclusively on Deliveroo at participating BURGER KING outlets for a pocket-friendly price of S$15. All Things Delicious
All Things Delicious is a halal-certified, bakery-cafe known for ITS iconic baked goods and chef-prepared comfort foods. To celebrate this National Day, All Things Delicious has specially created a series of delicious National Day treats, available for a limited time only.
Knowing Singapore's love of durians, All Things Delicious' Mao Shan Wang Sponge Cake is THE cake for celebrating the Nation's 56th birthday. Pure and unadulterated Mao Shan Wang durian flesh in between layers of a vanilla genoise, french chantilly cream with pure 24k gold leaves, what's there not to love?
All Things Delicious' Mao Shan Wang Charlotte is their interpretation of Durian Puffs in the form of sponge fingers, usually used in tiramisu. A pretty and dainty dessert with pure Mao Shan Wang filling in between the soft, vanilla sponges, dressed in red and white ribbons, just perfect for sharing during the National Day celebrations.
Extending our love for local flavours, All Things Delicious is also offering Ondeh Ondeh Sepak Takraw Rolls made of natural desiccated coconut sweetened with gula melaka; and the savoury version, Sambal Ikan Bilis Sepak Takraw Rolls filled with fragrant and spicy sambal tumis and crispy ikan bilis.

This National Day, Chico Loco presents a parade-worthy lineup of signature Chico Loco rotisserie meats, ribs, locally-inspired sauces, sides and juicy margaritas.
The National Day celebrations start with crunchy golden spicy Salted Egg Chicken Skin, combining Singaporeans’ love for all things with salted egg, and fried chicken skin. Marching up close behind is champion contender Chicken Fat Rice, a staple Singaporean essential that’s been given the Chico Loco treatment.

Subway Singapore
Subway Singapore is launching its first-ever local flavour pairing: Rendang Sub and Pandan Cookie. The familiar flavour of Rendang will now be available to Singaporeans via the Rendang Sub that comes in both chicken and beef.
The Rendang Sub includes chilli, onion, turmeric, ginger, garlic, desiccated coconut, tamarind, lemongrass and a unique spice and herb mixture. All this renders the meat soft and juicy and gives the Rendang Sub an irresistible, robust and aromatic taste. You can choose your own fresh vegetables, but Subway recommends pairing the rendang meat with Old English Cheddar Cheese, Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Mixed Pepper and Onions for an especially flavourful explosion.
The naturally sweetened and chewy Pandan cookie (S$1.40) is best paired with the Rendang Sub.
