Marina Bay Sands Traditional Mooncakes
Led by executive pastry chef Antonio Benites, Marina Bay Sands celebrates Mid Autumn Festival 2021 with artisanal traditional mooncakes through three delicate flavours - Low Sugar Lotus Paste with Melon Seeds; Premium Pandan with Melon Seeds; and Yam and Lotus Paste with Salted Egg Yolk.
Marrying traditional Cantonese-style baking techniques with wellness ingredients such as manuka honey, nutrient-rich seeds, and house-made low-sugar paste, Chef Antonio and his team of 30 pastry chefs bake these mooncakes in small batches daily to ensure maximum freshness and quality. The mooncakes are made with no preservatives, are dairy-free, and contain nuts and eggs.
Thoughtfully crafted using all-natural, premium ingredients, each mooncake set consists of two elegant tea-infuser tumblers filled with eight mini baked mooncakes and two tins of TWG Imperial Pu-Erh tea leaves. This Mid Autumn Festival, world-famous confectioners Lady M unveils its Celebration of Lights Gift Set (S$95) as this year’s limited-edition mooncake set.
Packaged in a whimsical custom-designed Ferris wheel box, the set includes six signature mooncakes in a rotation of reinterpreted familiar flavours. The two flavours on offer are - golden rich Custard Mooncakes and dense, cocoa-infused Chocolate Mooncakes. Truffle and durian lovers, you might want to try these mooncakes. The homegrown brand behind Singapore’s popular truffle chips, Aroma Truffle, has launched Mid Autumn Festival special Black Winter Truffle Musang King Durian mooncakes.
These 24K gold-dusted treats are made from imported Italian Black Winter Truffles and Musang King durians sourced all the way from Raub, Pahang. The durian is so named because of its creamy flesh which tastes similar to mangoes and custards when ripe with a musky scent similar to an aromatic wood when unripe.
